How to use
1.Prepare or obtain three (3) blank formatted floppy disks.
Create a directory on your hard drive (E.G. C:\temp) in which to hold
the downloadable self-extracting compressed file.
2.Click on the file names below, and download the following file to the directory on your
hard drive (E.G. C:\temp).
GP52314.EXE 1,005,573 Bytes
3.Click Windows [Start] button, and select [Run].
4.Input the following command line and click [OK].
[drive:][\path]\gp52314.exe
[drive:] is a drive name where the downloaded file is stored.(E.G. C:\)
[\path] is a path name where the downloaded file is stored.(E.G. temp)
E.G. If your download destination was [C:\temp] then the command line is:
C:\temp\gp52314.exe
How to install
Read instructions contained in README_E.TXT and run setup.exe in the tmcheck directory.
Notes
- This software may not function correctly with models GP5-DT201/GP5-DT202/GP5SDT201, depending on the version of these tape drives.
- If you use ARCserve®, you may have to remove tape drivers such as hpdat.sys or 4mmdat.sys (for DAT), tandqic.sys (for MLR3), or qic157.sys (for Travan NS).
- If any of "GP5000 Tape Maintenance Checker V1.0," "Fujitsu Tape Maintenance Checker V1.2," or "Fujitsu Tape Maintenance Checker V2.1/V2.2/V2.3" is already installed in your system, please uninstall before installing this software.
- Installing "GP5000 Tape Maintenance Checker V1.0," "Fujitsu Tape Maintenance Checker V1.2," or "Fujitsu Tape Maintenance Checker V2.1/V2.2/V2.3" with this software may result in errors or erratic operation.
- This software uses one of the Windows NT® / Windows® 2000 services.
